2016 Beckum-Stapleton Little League!
Despite overcast skies, the Beckum-Stapleton Little League kicked off Opening Day with a grand parade on Saturday, May 7, 2016. The parade started at 5th and Chambers at 9:30 a.m. and ended at James Beckum Park, where the Opening Day ceremonies continued as well as the first game of the Little League season. The league has been a chartered member of Little League since 1966, and involved in the Little League Urban Initiative for four years. Approximately 350 children are participating in James Beckum Little League, which fields 25 teams.
