Location: Milwaukee WI

Salary: $29,000 to $35,000 DOE

Job Summary: DRW’s Administrative staff performs a variety of clerical support, receptionist duties, and database functions, as well as project support as assigned. This position also provides administrative support to Representative Payee Program and to the Director of External Advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Administrative Duties (50%)
• Answer, screen, and route calls; handle walk-in traffic.
• Routine copying, collating, document formatting, scanning, filing, and mailings
• Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned

2. Representative Payee Program Support (25%)
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, make travel arrangements, mail correspondence, maintain files, maintain databases and spreadsheets, and create reports

3. Director of External Advocacy Support (25%)
• Assistance with multiple projects. Duties include listserv maintenance, directory maintenance, meeting logistics and document prep, large mailings, ordering materials, distribution of materials, creating surveys, and other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma plus 2 years’ experience providing clerical support and customer support or associate degree preferred.
• Advanced computer skills; intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and experience working with PDFs
• Detail oriented and able to follow and carry out complex instructions
• Must be able to maintain the highest level of discretion with confidential and sensitive information
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment with constant interruptions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred:
• Bilingual Spanish speaking skills
• Experience working with diverse groups, including persons with disabilities
