Newport Missionary Baptist Church celebrate 32nd Church Anniversary

Rev. Dr. Walter L. Smith, Sr., and the congregation of Newport Missionary Baptist Church, 2237 N. 11th St., celebrated their church’s 32nd anniversary on Thursday, October 10, and Friday, October 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. nightly. The celebration was concluded on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. The program theme was: “Looking Back…Reaching Forward (Haggai 2:9). “The program participants in Sunday’s service included: Rev. Dr. Steven Harris, Sr., Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church; Rev. Dr. Robert McFarland; Rev. Samuel Smith; and the True Heart Missionary Baptist Church choir.
