Dr. Shirley Scott-Harris (right), a candidate for State Representative District 79 from Auburn, Alabama, served as the guest speaker at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church’s Annual Women’s Day held Sunday, August 14, 2016, at 1717 W. Meinecke Ave. Dr. Harris is the sister of Mount Carmel’s Pastor Rev. Dr. Hugh Davis, Jr. (left). As part of the celebration the women wore all white outfits with yellow accessories.
