Greater Galilee Missionary Baptist Church (GGMBC), 2432 North Teutonia Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin will hold their annual Youth Day Worship Service Celebration at 10:30 a.m., on Sunday, June 28, 2015. This year’s theme is “Preparing Youth for Future Service in Christ” based scripturally on Proverbs 16:3 and Luke 8:5-15.
The special Worship Celebration speaker will be Sister Kikora Shani Smith, an energetic and committed member of Greater Galilee.This dynamic and anointed speaker served as the Youth Director for two years and developed many strong relationships with GGMBC youth. She has also been active in the Women’s Ministry, Gospel of Praise Choir,Vacation Bible School and co-chaired the Women’s Mental Health and Wellness workshop.
Currently, Sister Smith is employed as the Academic Success Center Coordinator for Nicolet High School, where she serves on several committees. Both in the community and at church, she is driven to empower young people and help them to shape their future.
In addition, the GGMBC Scholarship committee will recognize honor roll students during the worship service.The group was formed to promote academic excellence and the pursuit of higher education. GGMBC awards scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 every year.
