Greater Galilee Missionary Baptist Church (GGMBC), 2432 North Teutonia Avenue, Milwaukee, WI will hold its annual Women’s Day Worship Celebration at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 28. This year’s theme is “Victorious Women” based scripturally on 1 Corinthians 15:57 and Isaiah 54:17a. The special guest speaker is Pastor Jennifer U. Davis, of New Beginnings Christian Church in Huntsville, Alabama. Pastor Jenn, as she is fondly known, founded and co-pastors the church along with her husband Pastor Errol Davis. She is a dynamic, powerful, and anointed preacher and teacher, with a gift for reaching worshippers across denominational lines. Whenever and wherever she preaches, she challenges listeners through theological and spiritual insight to walk as sons and daughters of the kingdom of God. Pastor Jenn encourages Christians to develop and maintain an intimate relationship with God through real and relevant messages and teachings. The worship service will also include the locally re-nowned Greater Galilee Women’s Day Choir and GGMBC “Women of Service” honorees Georgia Cameron, Classie Cox, Virgine Greer and Deaconess Deloris White. In celebration of breast cancer awareness that Sunday, women will wear white with pink accessories and everyone in attendance will receive a pink ribbon. Pastor Johnny C. White, Jr., D.Min. and the congregation invites the public to join this spiritually-charged open door worship service. The public is also welcome to participate in Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. and a Women’s Day Luncheon at the Radisson-West Milwaukee Hotel, 2303 N.
