Mother Corrine Miller

Mother Corrine Miller was born in Memphis, TN on December 29, 1934 to Nod Davis and Malinda Dolman. She was born into a family of four brothers and four sisters. Corrine was adopted at birth by David and Lula Sims in Memphis.

Corrine met Charles Miller, Sr., in September 1950 and they went on to enter into Holy Matrimony on February 17, 1951. The Millers relocated to Milwaukee, WI that same year.

In 1958, Charles became Founder and Pastor of Golden Rule Church Of God In Christ in Milwaukee, and Corrine assumed the role of First Lady and Mother of the Church. Mother Corrine was the founder of Golden Rule Learning Center and Golden Rule Outreach Center. In 2011, she retired from Golden Rule Learning Center. Mother Corrine continued to serve the community through Golden Rule Outreach Center until her passing. Mother Corrine, in her leisure time, enjoyed praising her Lord and Savior and always lending her HANDS and RESOURCES to help others through serving the community.

Mother Corrine Miller departed her earthly journey into the arms of her loving Father on Sunday, August 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Charles Miller, Sr.; her parents, Nod Davis and Malinda Dolman and adopted parents David and Lula Sims; sons, Andrew Miller and Leonard Miller; daughter, Maxine Greer; sister, Lillie Cash; grandsons, Ernest Miller, Charles Miller III and Robert Cameron; granddaughter, Teleokia Miller; and greatgreat grandson, Jeremiah Rios.

Mother Corrine leaves to cherish her life memories: daughters Patricia (Allen) Williams, Phyllis (Kenny) Weakley, Patricia Grimes, and Vivian Miller; sons Charles Miller Jr., Stanley Miller and Bernard Miller; grandchildren Belinda Miller, Brenda Miller, Tallandra (David) Ward, Devona Grimes, Kevin Cameron, Tito Grimes, Tika Grimes, Ernesto Miller, Brandon Miller, Lorna Miller, Sonja Greer, Angel Greer, and Mia Miller; nieces and nephews that Mother Corrine raised, including Deon, Devon, Nagur, Bean, and Andrea; 36 great grandchildren, 46 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-greatgreat grandchildren; best friend, Marilyn Barton; god son, Terrence Barton; god daughters, Gloria and Mary Wilson; and a host of other family, friends, church and business colleagues, devoted ministry colleague, Dr. Joycelyn Yvonne Pernell-Henderson.
