The National Guard has been deployed in various cities around the USA. There has been outrage and also support over the action. The high crime and violence in certain areas is the reason for turning the National Guard loose in these cities. The National Guard can only patrol and deal with the bodies of malcontent citizens. The USA needs the Thought Police to truly make America great again.
The National Guard can come into a city and restore a semblance of peace via their presence. Military personnel can be a great deterrent to foolish acts and crime. The citizens will either love the fact that the Guard is there, ignore, or loathe the Guard presence. If the citizens are against the presence of the Guard, they will harbor ill will. This is where the effectiveness of the Guard is lowered. The issue with the majority of US citizens is not what they are physically doing, but how they think. The Thought Police is the solution.
The Thought Police were the true enforcers in George Orwell’s masterpiece, 1984. The Thought Police monitored the citizens minds for any thought that was against the rule of the governing party, or deemed against society. Ignorance and idiotic thought is what has brought the USA to its knees. A version of the Thought Police created and turned loose in the USA may solve many issues the country has.
I know what you are thinking, “This fool is crazy.” Hear me out. Racism has held this country in its macabre clutches since the formation of USA. The Thought Police would see to it that anyone thinking such unpatriotic thoughts would be dealt with. How smooth would the USA run if racism didn’t exist? How would eliminating racism affect the education system? How would daily life in the USA look if racism was a non factor? The Thought Police would bring the answers to these questions and more to reality.
The Thought Police would eliminate much of the crime that has held American society back by targeting a key source of protection criminals enjoy. The unpatriotic thoughts pertaining to crime that many Americans harbor. The thought process of, “I have to protect my family no matter what,” many Americans believe. This thought process protects criminals because their families cover, or ignore the criminal actions. Everyone in a community knows who is doing the crime no matter what race they are. Yet, criminals continue to prosper and keep the cycle of crime going in many communities. The Thought Police would weed out the persons who believe in family over the safety and peace of an area. How much better would all cities in the USA be if citizens did their civic duty and reported crime? How peaceful would the inner city be if families didn’t accept crime from relatives and instead reported the perpetrators? The Thought Police would remove this idiotic protective shield that families use to cover relatives who commit crime.
The US educational system would flourish after a decade of effective thought enforcement from the Thought Police. Many students go to school with the wrong thoughts rolling through their heads. Students would happily apply themselves academically after seeing the effectiveness of the Thought Police in the community. The glorification of ignorance and drug culture would be gone, because the people who perpetrate these heinous crimes would be extinct. Students would learn how to use their minds and understand their talents to be successful Americans. One can only imagine the positive effect the Thought Police would have on student mental health.
Deploying the National Guard is a step that needs a follow up to be effective. The Thought Police is the measure needed to transform the USA back to the greatness its citizens crave, but do not know how to get to. It is thoughts that lead to unpleasant situations. Thought can be an enemy or friend. The Thought Police would ensure the thoughts of US citizens are the latter.
