Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Hosts its Annual Veterans Day Luncheon

The Veterans Ministry of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church hosted its annual “Veterans Day Luncheon Celebration” on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the church at 1825 W. Hampton Ave. The guest speaker was Tiffany Kohler, Commander of the Wisconsin Disabled American Veterans. Those honored at this year’s event were Calvin Bruce, James Brown, Deacon Thomas Powell, Barbara Powell, Jowanna Epps, Frederick Wilder, Mark Wilhette, Alderwoman Larrisa Taylor (District 9), Tiffany Kohler-Commander DAV, Dr. Rev. Russell B. Williamson, George Warner, Carol Warner, Barbara Robinson, Robert Robinson, Wayne Thomas, Ed Staples, and Leon Staples. There were special mentions for Dr. Rev. Russell B. Williamson and James Brown. Musical selections were performed by Michelle Jordan and Tiffany Terry. Chandra Staples and Alma Leatherwood were the program chairpersons.
