On Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7, 2016 Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 2964 N. 11th Street hosted the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist District Association’s Midwest Regional Conference. The theme for the two-day event was “Equipping Today’s Church to Serve.” The host pastor was Canaan’s own Dr. Frederick Jones.
