Signs of Life: Milwaukee Black-owned business

Since the city has been under a “Safer at Home” order as of March 25, 2020, most of the city has been quiet and deserted. But a few signs of life still persist. Currently, there are many Milwaukee “essential” businesses, besides food and drug stores, that are still open. Many like City.Net Cafe and Coffee Makes You Black are currently offering curbside pick-up or delivery, while others like Speed Queen BarBQ have lines for their drive through window stretching down the block.

Our own Milwaukee Times Printing and Publishing Co., is still open and taking printing orders, and printing obituaries.

Please support these and other Black-owned businesses during this time. They need your support as there is no certainty that they will receive a government bail-out like big corporations. So order a meal for you and your loved one(s) to be delivered or picked-up and have a nice quiet dinner in.
