Nadine Smith celebrated her 85th birthday on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Gordon Park Pavilion. She was elated and surprised by the presence of close family members and friends, which included two of her lifelong friends at this joyous event.

Nadine and her five children moved to Milwaukee from Memphis, TN in 1969. She is a faithful, loyal member of the Mothers Board at Providence Baptist Church.

Nadine acquired her first employment at St. Mary’s Hospital shortly after moving to Milwaukee. Since her retirement from Froedtert Hospital (formerly Milwaukee County Hospital), Nadine continues to be lively and enthusiastic. She is a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She enjoys cooking, traveling on cruises and spending time with family and friends.
