On Monday, June 10, 2019, Shiloh Tabernacle United Holy Church of America, Inc., hosted a special showing the new movie, “Play The Flute,” at the Landmark Downer Theater, 2589 N. Downer Ave. The reason for the special showing was former church member, Ken Ivy, is making his major motion picture debut in the film.
“Play the Flute” is about a youth pastor who tries to motivate an indifferent youth group to get serious about their relationship with God. Ken plays one of the students in the film. He is a native of Milwaukee, a graduate of Hamilton High School, and attended Shiloh Tabernacle, where Bishop Charles Jordan is the pastor. Many of his family, friends and church family came out to the special viewing to see and cheer him on in his big screen debut.
