On Thursday, December 1, 2022, the African American Breastfeeding Network (AABN) hosted their “Year End Celebration,” at the Sojourner Family Peace Center, 619 W. Walnut St., with a walk down the Red Carpet. Food, Fun, and Awards were given out at the event. AABN founder and CEO Dalvery Blackwell (bottom photo, center) also was celebrated for her 2022 Annual Black Breastfeeding Week Awards win for black breast feeding leadership from the Birth and Breastfeeding Institute
