On Saturday, November 7, 2020, the SOS (Strength of Our Savior) Center, located at 4620 W. North Ave., hosted an open house to feature the many activities the center has to offer as well as many local vendors. The SOS Center is a non-profit social services agency that facilitates Christian care, educational instruction, after-school programming and life skills activities for children and families in the Milwaukee community. The center emphasis three values: Service, Faith and Peace. The center offers after-school programs including tutoring, mentoring, snacks and meals, summer camp, BLCL youth group, a sewing room, and art lessons and activities.
