On Thursday, September 26, 2019, the Social Development Commission (SDC) hosted a Lunch and Learn for Women in Trades, at their facility on 1730 W. North Ave. This women-only session was focused on women looking to start or to further their careers in the construction industry, and for more information on training opportunities.
Presenters at the event included SDC Workforce Development and Training Job Developer Courtney Kelly and guest speaker JCP Construction Project Manager Tracy Carson.
