Our Daily Bread hosts ‘Back-to-School Community Bash’

Hundreds of Milwaukee-area students obtained supplies for the fall school year and enjoyed a “Welcome Back-to-School Community Bash” at Barack Obama School of Career and Technical Education on August 10, 2023. The event was sponsored by Our Daily Bread Community Outreach Center, Inc. (ODB), and United Healthcare Community Plan. Barack Obama School was the host. More than 200 book bags were distributed to students. Hotdogs, cookies, chips and juice were provided free to guests. Our Daily Bread supplied many volunteers including (pictured from left) Lisa Kaiser Nancy Mudd, Dana Louis, Greg Johnson, Jasmine Kimbrough, Thomacia Anderson, Kavayha Ross, Trinity Lloyd, ODB CEO Lea Kyle-Lewis, Jennifer Flinn, Maya Chancey, and Barack Obama School Principal Jason Brazil.
