On Monday, August 15, 2015 the Milwaukee Urban
League Milwaukee Branch, along with U.S. Senator
Tammy Baldwin (left), hosted a round-table discussion
on the importance of the “Stronger Way Act.”
The Stronger Way Act, which is being co-sponsored
by Senator Baldwin and Senator Cory Booker (DNJ),
is a bill proposed to Congress that will create
opportunity for all and reward work, as well as set
up a national partnership to support a transitional
jobs programs, and tax reforms and credits that
make work pay and help lift individuals from below
the poverty line. Senator Baldwin is pictured
