On Saturday, November 6, 2021, the Milwaukee Branch of the Urban League (MUL) hosted their “36th Annual Black and White Ball,” at the Wisconsin Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave. The Black and White Ball is one of Wisconsin’s premier social events of the year and once again the MUL was able to hold the event in person, having had to host it virtually last year due to the pandemic.
This year the program was sponsored by Rockwell Automation and the hosts were MUL President and CEO Dr. Eve M. Hall; U.S. Bank District Manager and MUL Board Chairman John A. Saloemi; Brewers Community Foundation Executive Director Cecelia Gore; and Rockwell Automation Chairman and CEO Black D. Moret. During the event Johnson Controls Global Service General Counsel Neuman Leverett presented a donation of more than $1.9 million to the Urban League. The event also featured a performance from 80’s R&B star Howard Hewett.
