

On Friday, October 26, 2018, The Milwaukee Press Club hosted its annual Media Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, 1721 West Canal St. Among those honored this year was Milwaukee Times founder, the late Nathan Conyers (inset).
Conyers was selected for induction based on his long and great career in journalism and his reputation for excellence, as well as being a business and community leader. His award was accepted on his behalf by his daughter Morgan Ashley Conyers (center).
Conyers was inducted among a distinguished class this year, his fellow honorees are (from left) former Milwaukee Magazine editor John Fennell; former Milwaukee Journal Sentinel publisher Elizabeth Brenner; TMJ4 news anchor Carol Meekins; Morgan Ashley Conyers; retired journalist Stuart Wilk; former Journal Sentinel reporter Marilyn Krause; Elaine Haase, who accepted for her late husband, Wisconsin Election Services Executive Director Russ Haase; and TMJ4 news anchor Mike Jacobs.
