Milwaukee Health Services Inc., hosted its Sixth Annual Holiday Dinner & Conquer Safety Kit Giveaway and Conquer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Friday, December 17, 2021. The day-long event took place at the Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
MHSI’s providers, clinical support staff and registration continued working as a normal clinic day. Appointments for COVID-19 vaccine and flu shots were available for participants. Groceries were given to all patients who were present at their scheduled appointment.
Members from our community lined up in 36-degree weather early as 6:00 a.m., to receive groceries. More than 50 volunteers showed support and served the members of the community. A record-breaking 2,000 meals were distributed to patients and community members.
