Milwaukee Small Business Week was observed beginning Monday, June 2, 2014. Local business leaders J.C. and Victoria Frazier of Northwest Funeral Home was visited by Congresswoman Gwen Moore and SBA Wisconsin District Director Eric Ness. The Fraziers have recently opened the Northwest Family Activity and Events Center located at 4034 W. Good Hope Road. This new expansion has allowed the Fraziers to create additional jobs for the central city. The center will serve as a facility for activities such as receptions, family gatherings, birthday celebrations as well as convenient parking for patrons. Congresswoman Moore stated that small businesses play an important role in creating jobs for local citizens.
