Milwaukee celebrates African American art and culture at 2019 Black Arts Fest MKE

On Saturday, August 3, 2019, the Black Arts Fest MKE was host to the “2nd Annual Black Arts Fest 2019,” at the Henry Maier Festival Park. The festival celebrated African American culture and though art, music, dance, and food.

There were a number of vendors selling art, and African inspired clothing and jewelery. Among the many performers were headliners vocalist Bettye LaVette, and 90’s R&B trio SWV (Sisters With Voices).
