Green Bay Packers beat Chicago Bears in NFL 100th season opener

On Thursday, September 5, 2019, the National Football League (NFL) celebrated the kick-off of its 100th season with its first week 1 game, with none other than the Green Bay Packers facing the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. Packers vs. Bears is one of the oldest rivalries in the NFL.

The Packers defeated the Bears at home 10 to 6. The Packers forced 1st and 20 2nd and 30 and 3rd and 40 which kept the Bears offense at a negative yardage. The Packers will host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday September 15, at Lambeau Field with a 12 noon kick-off.
