Bishop E. Lewis celebrates his 93rd birthday

Bishop E. Lewis (left photo, front right) celebrated his 93rd birthday with a festive dinner featuring Southern cooking on Saturday, March 25, 2021, in Milwaukee with his daughters (bottom photo, from left): Narcisia Edie Bland, Sarah Lewis, Harry Lewis, Jr., Harry Lewis, III, Carol Lewis and Leenail Lewis. Bishop Lewis was born in Glen Allen, Mississippi in 1927. He relocated to Chicago and was ordained a minister in 1956. In 1959, he was ordained a bishop and moved to Milwaukee where he founded Pillar Ground Apostolic Truth Church at 12th and Lloyd streets.
