The Milwaukee Times is looking for several
talented freelance writers to help us out during
our upcoming 2017 Black Excellence awards.
This is a short term, paid, assignment.
Writers Should Have:
• Previous professional journalistic writing
experience
• Be able to work on deadline
• Possess interviewing, spelling and basic
grammar skills
• Be familiar with AP style (preferred)
• Be able to submit work electronically
• Possess a professional demeanor
Writers Must Provide:
• Resume’
• Writing Samples
• And be able to attend in-house writing
workshops.
