Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) kindergarten enrollment for Fall 2025 ends Monday, March 17, 2025. Select a school for your child and fill out your application now for the best chance of getting your top school choice. Some schools fill up quickly!

The district is home to nearly 160 schools and has a program for every student including half- and full-day kindergarten, neighborhood schools, specialty schools, Montessori, language immersion, bilingual schools, special education, Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and more. Families can choose from schools across the district, including their neighborhood school or other schools around the city.

School staff are eager to support children on their academic journey with art, music, physical education, college and career preparation, and more.

Families with children entering kindergarten should select their top school choices and complete their enrollment by March 17, 2025.

Are you looking to enroll a child in grades 1 through 12? Enrollment is open! Make sure your child has a seat for fall. High school enrollment was held in October and many seats are filled, but families can still enroll children through August 1, 2025. Remaining seats will be filled on a first-come, firstserved basis, so don’t delay!

• Enroll in person Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at MPS Central Services, 5225 W. Vliet St., Milwaukee, 53208.
