We are ready for a great start to the 2022-23 school year. From international recruiting efforts to local events and to the Wisconsin State Fair, Milwaukee Public School (MPS) has been working to fill positions since spring. Today, there are strong candidates going through the application process. Chief of Human Resources Adria Maddaleni is excited about the new talent coming to MPS. “We are thrilled with the onboarding of our new employees. Working together with our current instructional teams and school leaders, we will infuse new ideas and energy into classrooms across the district.”
Early start schools resuming classes on Monday, August 15, 2022. “Our new teachers, educators, and support staff are bringing a renewed focus, new enthusiasm, and excitement to MPS. As a former principal, I truly understand the importance of a brilliant team. From our little learners to our middle school scholars and soonto- be high school graduates, Milwaukee families will be impressed,” said HR Senior Director Michael Harris.
In addition to the current talent and new staff coming on, MPS is pleased with the beautiful facility and campus upgrades and enhancements that were done this summer. Thanks to federal ESSER funding, important updates such as eco-friendly lighting, remodeling, and tiling were completed for many sites.
There are limited full and part-time positions available, but they fill quickly. MPS offers competitive pay and benefits — most jobs have summers off! Visit mpsmke. com/careers to apply.
