More than 300 family members and community attendees were treated to enthusiastic performances by MPS students at the second annual MPS Language Summit this December. Hosted at Milwaukee School of Languages, the event showcased nine student performances and more than 20 school displays.
Following the students’ songs, dances, and poems, visitors had the chance to browse school displays, sample ethnic foods, and learn more about MPS bilingual and multicultural programs. MPS offers bilingual and ESL programs, world language programs, and language immersion programs across the city.
To learn more about programs in MPS schools, try our Find a School tool on the MPS website at https://mps.milwaukee.k12.wi.us. With an ongoing need for bilingual teachers, interested candidates should visit the MPS Employment page for more information.
Thank you to our students for their exciting performances at the Language Summit!
