Mayor Tom Barrett, Alderman Russell Stamper
and Barb Klug from the State of Wisconsin’s Division
of Energy, Housing and Community Resources
gathered at the new offices of the Social
Development Commission at 1730 W. North Ave.,
to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the national
Weatherization Assistance Program on October
27, 2016. The weatherization program enables
low-income families to reduce their energy bills
permanently by making their homes more energy
efficient. SDC is one of several participating
