On Saturday, October 25, 2025, Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church held Installation Services for their newly elected Pastor, Reverend Dr. Demetria McCroskey with special guest Pastor LaShante Walker, Senior Pastor of the Howard Congregational Church UCC, Nashville, TN. The service continued during their morning worship on Sunday, October 26, 2025 with special guest Pastor Ronald Butler III, Senior Pastor of Walnut Grove Church, Murfreesboro, TN.
There were special guests which included Reverend Keith T. Evans, President of the Wisconsin General Baptist State Convention, Inc., Racine; Reverend Melinda Welton-Mitchell, Executive Minister, American Baptist Churches of Wisconsin; Reverend Dr. Derrick Jackson, President, American Baptist College, Nashville, TN; and Elder Brandi Savannah of Walnut Grove Church to name a few. Reverend Dr. Martin Childs, Jr., Pastor Emeritus of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church presented the Statement of the Church and presented Dr. McCroskey with the rod and staff.
In April of 2025, Reverend Dr. Demetria McCroskey was commissioned by the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church family as the Executive Pastor, and on October 1, 2025.
