Hope Community Church hosts mortgage burning service

On Sunday, April 16, 2023, Hope Community Church commemorated the milestone of paying off the church mortgage during their morning service at the church, 5040 Northwestern Ave., Racine, WI. This was the vision of founding Pastor Sam Jackson. Some of the founding members were in attendance to join in the festivities.
The congregation watched and clapped loudly in excitement as Elders Lonnie Tolson and Yuniwo Nfor put the fire to the mortgage document while current Pastor Donald Bennett looked on.
Food and fellowship followed the mortgage-burning service. It was a day that the church celebrated the goodness and provision of God as He blessed this congregation. Pictured are (from left) Elder Lonnie Tolson, Pastor Donald Bennett, and Elder Yuniwo Nfor.
