Hear Manty Ellis, one of Milwaukee’s great jazz legends, along with some of the best and brightest talents on today’s jazz scene, including Eric Schoor on tenor sax, Billy Johnson on bass, and Victor Campbell on drums. Now re-named the Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts, the Jazz Gallery has been reborn, featuring art exhibitions, jazz and experimental music, urban poetry and performance. We are raising funds to improve the venue with new flooring, stage lighting and a built in sound system. Saturday, July 26, 7:00 p.m., at the Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts, at 926 East Center Street. A $10.00 donation is requested.
