North Division High School 1976 Class Hosts 50th Reunion

The North Division High School Class of 1976 celebrated their 50th Class Reunion, August 21-23, 2026. Myron Hood and Bobby Lewis Jones were two of the organizers of the reunion. It was said by one of the attendees that “this was one of the best organized events that he has attended in years.” The organizers attempted to ensure their former classmates and others who attended had a weekend filled with fun, laughter, the renewing of old friendships, as well as information about the careers, achievements, etc. of some of their classmates. During the program they recognized those classmates who had passed. Also, in attendance were former teachers Mr. Gene Leland, Mr. Michael Cummings, Mrs. Geisla Bennings, and Mr. Robert (Bob) Kerns.

Some of the events that took place were Happy Hour & Social at Favorites Restaurant & Lounge on the 21st, tour of North Division High School and Reunion Dinner & Quarter Party at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee on the 22nd. Saturday’s “Quarter Party” Music Mix / Talent Show was their signature event that afforded them a great opportunity to share their reunion experience with other fellow classes, family, or a few close friends. The reunion concluded on the 23rd with worship service at the Free Spirit Missionary Baptist Church where Reverend Greg Lewis, 1976 Graduate of NDHS, serves as pastor, and a Sunday Brunch at the Vibe following service.
