ThriveOn King officially opens its doors to Bronzeville neighbors with Trick-or-Treat event

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, ThriveOn King located at 2153 N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr., the community hub developed by the Medical College of Wisconsin, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and Royal Capital, hosted an open house. The public was invited to tour the first floor, including the new Kinship Café and the available gathering spaces with demonstrations of their technical capabilities. Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley and Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson were on-site, donating blood with Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin; and a community open house for Bronzeville neighborhood residents with food, family-friendly games and activities, and trick-or-treating with the first floor tenants.
