October 3, 2024

All of us at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts invite you to get to know us and the many ways we support the greater Milwaukee area with access to the arts. We are located 20 minutes from downtown Milwaukee and offer free and safe parking.

Join us on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 2 p.m. for a celebration of Duke Ellington’s 125th birthday with this new program of Ellington classics performed by some of the best jazzers in Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Jazz Institute.

On Friday, January 17, 2025, Racine blues guitarist, Stephen Hull joins us in our studio theater. Stephen Hull gives the blues community exciting evidence that the future of music is in good hands. A Racine, WI native, born in 1999, Stephen Hull started playing blues at age 14 and never stopped, taking cues from Albert King and B.B. King as he developed his sweet, soulful guitar sound.

In February, we are excited to host TWO Grammy winning artists – composer and pianist Arturo O’Farrill and his Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble will make their Milwaukee debut on Saturday, February 1, 2025; and on Saturday, February 22, 2025 we are excited to host vocal ensemble Ladysmith Black Mambazo who are well known for their work on Paul Simon’s Graceland album. Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.

Call our Box Office for tickets at 262-781-9520 or go to our website www.wilson-center.com
