On Tuesday, August 28r 2018, young men and adults got dressed for success. America Works Wisconsin handed out more than 400 suits for people looking for jobs. Alderman Russell Stamper said new suits give people confidence when they are applying and interviewing for jobs.
”We’re teaching success here. We have every opportunity. There’s no excuse for anybody not to have a job. We have the jobs, the clothes, the motivation, and we have the supporter,” said Ald. Stamper.
There were other resources at the suit giveaway, such as helping people prepare for interviews, tickets and suspended license reinstatement, and educational opportunities.
The event was hosted by Reggie Brown of V100.7 Jams FM.
