It’s a Festive Holiday Season at the National Railroad Museum:
Polar Express, Holiday On The Rails, & Festival of Trees
The National Railroad Museum offers holiday programming throughout the season.
Ashwaubenon (Green Bay, Wis.) – The National Railroad Museum celebrates the holiday season with a number of festive events.
Events include the ever popular Polar Express, Holiday on the Rails, and Festival of Trees:
Polar Express:
The Polar Express™ at the National Railroad Museum features a live rendition of the Hot Chocolate Dance followed by a dramatic
reading of the original Polar Express™ book. Patrons then board the train for the ride to the North Pole. Once we reach the top of the
world, Santa personally greets each and every child.
Event dates include: November 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 30 & December 1, 2, 3, 4.
Prices: Standard Class: $17.50 all seats, all ages
Premium Class Lounge: $30 all seats, all ages
Premium Class Table: $28 all seats, all ages
Holiday On The Rails:
Holiday On The Rails will take place at the National Railroad Museum December 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10. This special program
features fun activities and crafts, cookie decorating, a train ride, and a visit with Santa! Holiday on the Rails is open to the
public and school groups.
Activities take place from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Train rides (approx. 25 minutes long) are scheduled for 9:15 a.m, 10:00
a.m, 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
This program is designed for children pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade. Admission is $5.00 per person, children under
age 3 are free.
No advance registration is needed for smaller groups. For groups larger than six (6), please contact Bob Lettenberger,

Festival of Trees:
The Festival of Trees will be on display in the Lenfestey Center and throughout the Museum from November 17, 2016 –
January 8, 2017. Dozens of trees will be decorated by local sponsor businesses and organizations. There will be a wide
variety of beautiful, fun, and uniquely decorated trees to enjoy!
Museum admission during the Festival of trees is reduced to just $5.00 per person, as a way to express our thanks during
this holiday season. Children under age 3 are always free.
