Milwaukee Urban League opens ‘Neighborhood Job Center Access Point’

On Tuesday, September 27, 2016 the Milwaukee Urban League, the Department of Workforce Development, Milwaukee County, the City of
Milwaukee, Employ Milwaukee Workforce Development, and Job Center of Wisconsin hosted the opening of the Neighborhood Job Center
Access Point inside the Milwaukee Urban league, 435 West North Ave. The Access Point helps individuals looking for work find better-paying
jobs, by provide help with resume creation, job applications, job searches, resources for former offenders, information about GED and skill resources,
referrals for childcare assistance, housing and transportation, and to connect individuals with specialized services for their unique job
abilities and needs. Pictured at the event (right photo) are Milwaukee Urban League President and CEO Ralph Hollmon and WNOV 860 radio
personality Ernie G., who broadcasted live from the event.
