The 2nd Annual An Evening of Elegance Black Tie Affair. Survivors of domestic abuse are chosen from nominations throughout the community and five victims are chosen from a shelter to attend this event. Once chosen, these women are referred to as VIP Queens and each queen receives a make over, hair style, formal gown, shoes and accessories, and full access to attend the ball.
The evening includes dinner, music, live entertainment, speakers, networking and more. Our purpose is to empower these women to rebuild their self esteem and self worth by awakening the queen within for one magical night. A sisterhood is born and we continue to support and empower one another long after the night has ended.
Tickets are $55 to attend and stand with us against domestic violence and abuse in a most elegant setting. The Ball, passionately referred to by our 2015 VIP Queen Alumni, will be held this year at the Nigerian Community Conference Center 8310 W. Appleton Ave Milwaukee, WI 53218 from 4pm to 8pm. This event is open to men and women, and sponsorship opportunities are available. This year, we have partnered with Johnnetria Gardner of Uniquely Yours Events and Designs.
