The Milwaukee Urban League 2016 Annual Meeting was held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. The annual event took place at GE Healthcare at Innovation Drive. The meeting brought Urban League employees and board members together to plan the direction of the Milwaukee branch. There were also plenty of announcements including the date of the Black and White Ball (Saturday, June 11, 2016) and the National Urban League Conference in Baltimore, MD on August 3-6. The biggest announcement was the forthcoming retirement of longtime Urban League President and CEO Ralph Hollman. Ralph reassured the attendees that there is currently a search for a replacement to ensure a smooth transition in leadership when the time comes.
