The Victory Missionary Baptist Church began the Eighteenth Year Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Edward E. Thomas with a Pre-anniversary celebration on October 7, 2025, where Bishop Prentis Van, Pastor of the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church served as guest speaker and Bishop Charles D. Watkins, Pastor of the King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church served as worship leader.
The celebration continued, Sunday, October 12, 2025 during the morning worship service with the brother of Pastor Thomas, Pastor Joseph Thomas of Enon Springs Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS, and concluded with Pastor Keith T. Evans, Pastor of the Greater Mt Eagle Baptist Church in Racine and President of the Wisconsin General Baptist State Convention, Inc. Special guest included the daughters of Reverend Edward and Sister Shirley Thomas from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Shalisha and Angela.
Reverend Thomas not only serves as Pastor of Victory, but also as Vice President-At-Large of the General Baptist State Convention of Wisconsin (WGBSC), Inc., and Executive Secretary of the Late Night Ministers’ Association.
