After a year of weather-related postponements and cancellations in 2022, fireworks should be back for the July 4, Independence Day celebrations in Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin.
To help you plan where you can view some of the fireworks shows in the area, here is our complete list of shows scheduled for 2023.
Milwaukee’s Lakefront Fireworks
The biggest fireworks show in the area will take place on Monday, July 3, at 9:30 p.m. The event typically attracts around 10,000 people.
Parking at the lakefront will begin at 6 a.m., July 3 and will be cash only ($25 a car). All lots can be accessed from Lincoln Memorial Drive on a first-come, firstserved basis. There are no inout privileges once a vehicle enters the grounds and no overnight parking is allowed. All vehicles are asked to leave the grounds after the fireworks display has concluded.
