2020 Louvenia Johnson Scholarship Recipient
Tanya McNeal is a senior at Washington High School of Information Technology where she earned a 4.11 cumulative grade point average. In addition to her outstanding academic record, Tanya has also dedicated all four of her high school years to basketball and track and field. Other students regularly seek out Tanya for her assistance and expertise, said her math instructor, who added that Tanya is also “an incredibly hard worker, patient and kind to her fellow students.” Tanya hopes to major in business administration. She has applied to Tennessee State University and Grambling State University.
