Monumental MBC celebrates Pastor and First Lady's 20th Year Anniversary

Saturday, November 2, 2019, Monumental Missionary Baptist Church celebrated the 20th Year Anniversary of their Pastor Roy C. Watson, and First Lady Sharon Watson (left photo) , at Meyer’s Restaurant & Banquet Hall, 4260 S. 76th St.

Pastor and First Lady Watson were joined by their family, friends and church family at an elegant “Black & White Gala.” Besides dinner and music attendees offered tributes to the work of the Watsons.

The anniversary committee was comprised of Chairperson Sister Towanda Ford; Co-chairs Sister Candice Cox and Sister Sheena Cox-Hill; and members Sister Detra McCoy; Sister Brenda Robinson; Brother Richard Spates; and Rev. Larry Harvey.
