Calvary Baptist Church hosts Annual Celebration of Friendship

On Sunday, September 29, 2019, Calvary Baptist Church hosted their Annual Celebration of Friendship at their church, 2959 N Teutonia Ave. As part of the celebration a group of male Calvary members known-as the “Bone Burning Brothers,” cooked for more than 100 church members and guests. The menu included Shrimp Scampi with Linguine, greens, red beans and rice, curry chicken, and corn bread. For dessert many of the church women, or “Ladies of the Cakes” made vanilla, chocolate and carrot pound cakes.
