Center Street Marketplace BID 39 hosts 2nd Annual Shop Center Street

On Tuesday, August 17, 2019, the Center Street Marketplace BID 39 hosted the 2nd Annual Shop Center Street Day at 35th and Center Street (large lot on the northside of the street). The event was geared towards raising awareness of the small businesses on Center street from 35th street to 60th street.
There are more than 95 operating businesses that need support from the community to stay in business including insurance, car repair, auto sales, barber/beauty shops, nail salons, and social service agencies, all doing business on Center Street. This event also included the Sherman Park, Amani and Metcalf Park residents and business owners.
