April 19, 2018

On Wednesday, April 11, 2018, The Milwaukee Urban League (MUL), celebrated the grand opening of the new Workforce Technology Center located inside their offices at 435 W. North Ave.

The center offers individuals the opportunity to learn valuable STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) skills that can lead to rewarding career opportunities. The new center showcases technology, new computers and a welcoming learning environment. The center was created with the generous help of Northwestern Mutual (NML) volunteers and donations of artwork and computers from NML.

Pictured at the event are (from left) NML Vice President Informational Risk and MUL board member Sheldon Cuffie; MUL President and CEO Dr. Eve Hall, Milwaukee Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs; and MUL staff.
