On Thursday, May 28, 2015, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s (WisDOT) Zero In Wisconsin campaign held a news conference in Milwaukee to promote safety belt use as part of the statewide Click It or Ticket mobilization, which ran from May 18 – 31. Green Bay Packers’ Super Bowl champion wide receiver, Dancing With the Stars Champion and New York Times bestselling author Donald Driver, who is a strong advocate for safety belt use, spoke at the event. He also is featured in statewide TV, radio, print and online messages about safety belt use for the Click It or Ticket campaign. A new video of Donald surprising some unsuspecting drivers to ask about their safety belt use was shown. The press conference was held at Isaac Coggs Heritage Health Center, located at 8200 West Silver Spring Drive. Pictured at the conference are Milwaukee Health Services Inc. president and chief executive officer Dr. Tito Izard, MD; WisDOT Secretary Mark Gottlieb; Green Bay Packers’ all-time leading receiver and Zero In Wisconsin program spokesperson Donald Driver; WI Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch; and WisDOT Bureau of Transportation Safety Director David Pabst. Pictured (insert) is a poster of Driver’s new ad signed by Driver himself.
