On Saturday, September 28, 2019, The New Saint James United Methodist Church held their 70th Church Anniversary at Alioto’s Restaurant. Founded on September 25, 1949, it is the first African American United Methodist Church established in Milwaukee. The event welcomed current and past members, who had time to reflect on 70 years of good fellowship. The past and present pastors were in attendance and given awards for their service.

Pictured are Pastor Vernon Moore and Pastor Lawrence McGuinn catching up on the past and present.
